For those that are interested here's an interview with Jack regarding his gubernatorial bid, lifted from alternative tentacles.

*note* not intended to ignite a political debate. Just info for those interested in his run and his positions.

I'm voting for him! If enough of us vote for him, we can at least make a statement. The whole healthcare issue always gets pushed under the rug during the elections, and I don't understand why.
I made this statement before on the old board, and I haven't commented the last few times people have brought it up, BUT the hairband TSOL was a totally different line-up. The original members re-united a few years back ('99 I think) and then the drummer Todd Barnes died of a brain aneurysm shortly after.

there was once an unusual candidate who ran for governor.
this unusual candidate had many unique and unorthodox ideas that he would impliment once elected to the position.
this candidate was known to roll up his sleeves and appeal to all the working class citizens of his great state.
this unusual candidate had the charisma and at the same time, the popularity, to convince all the voters that despite his lack of experience, he was still completely qualified to sit as governor.
Once seated, this unusual candidate freely admitted that his lack of experience is only hurting his state and that its much easier to talk the talk rather than walk the walk.
Who is this unusual candidate? Noneother than Jesse the body ventura.
Although Mr grishams' political platform is sincere and appealing, lets be honest, he hasnt a snoballs chance in hell in winning this and if he did, that would be a complete farce and california would be the laughing stock of the union; including minnesota.
you wouldnt KNOWINGLY hire somebody unqualified to overhaul your cars transmission would you? therefore, You should't KNOWINGLY vote for somebody unqualified to run your state either.
Gray Davis was qualified to run the state, he just was a complete idiot at the same time. Their are far more better choices on the ticket.
